  Without a doubt, renting a car during your stay on St. John will open the island's magnificent, tropical, natural world to you.  Nothing allows you the freedom and spontaneity of your own wheels. And this is especially true on St. John.

  Explore the unspoiled terrain of the Virgin Islands National Park, more sparkling beaches than you've seen anywhere, charming cafés hidden away here and there, and watering holes complete with local characters. Enjoy sighting donkeys, mongooses, birds, lizards, and butterflies along the way. Experience the friendly atmosphere that only a small island with proud residents can offer.

       Before leaving our office, the St. John Car Rental staff will familiarize you with the best beaches to go to, the best places to visit and the best things to do.  You can visit the National Park Headquarters on your way

 out of Cruz Bay, and pick up hiking maps and schedules for special events and guided tours.  Stop at one or many beaches along the route.  It's up to you!  Snorkel at one or all of the best snorkeling beaches.  You can bring your own gear, or rent some in Cruz Bay.  See turtles, sting rays, barracuda, schools of all kinds of fish,  beautiful sea fans and colorful coral.  There are many ruins you can stop at and explore.  The National Park has a map for these too.

       Annaberg is one of the best examples of what a complete sugar mill plantation looked like.  When you buy your National Park pass for Trunk Bay, you also get admittance to the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins.  Take advantage of that while you are here.  It is living history at its best!
